The "Fowl Record" & freedom fest info, tour dates, etc...

I got this from fowl records so i thought I'd pass it along
for those of you that dont know, fowl records is a local record company in Annapolis Md, they have lots of local bands on their label.
~NEWS~
This week in Fowl news:
- Jimmie's Chicken Shack has finished recording their new CD. It is titled
"Bring Your Own Stereo" and will be released on August 24th. The first
single will be out for your listening pleasure on July 26th.
- Next weekend Mary Prankster is headed back up north for the Canadian
Bakin
Tour Part 2. If you've got nothing to do next weekend, I hear Canada is
nice
this time of year!!
- A message from Underfoot:
Underfoot just wanted to let everyone know that things are going well
and that we're in the studio recording a new c.d. to follow up the recently
released live album One Hand Clapping. Two new members have joined the
band.
Conrad St.Clair on Bass and Tom Lagana on guitar. We have looked hard over
the last couple of months and have found two incredibly gifted musicians
who
create an even fuller version of underfoot. The band is only playing a few
select shows in the area each
month so jump on when you can. MTV just licensed both records for a couple
of
their new shows so when your flipping past MTV and you think you heard us
you
did. Hope to see you all at the shows. Noel
~EVENTS~
- The Kelly Bell Band will be playing the Mid Atlantic Music and Arts
(MAMA)
Festival this Saturday (June 20th) at 1:15pm in Timonium, MD. They will be
opening for rockin acts such as Los Lobos, The Funky Meters, and Buckwheat
Zydeco.
- Mary Prankster and Live Alien Broadcast will be making an instore
appearance at the Glen Burnie Record & Tape Traders on July 10th for their
grand re-opening. This will be an all ages event!
- Kelly Bell and Gibb Droll will be playing an acoustic gig at Bohager's
Parrot Island on June 30th (18+)
- July 4th = Freedom Fest!! ALL AGES! Fowl bands: Jimmie's Chicken
Shack,
Mary Prankster, and Colouring Lesson will be playing along with the 2
Skinnee
J's, Violent Femmes, the Ernies, Fighting Gravity, SEV, and many more!!
