CULT member does something worth recognition

janice rocks.
Talent is rampant in THE CULT throughout the alphabet, from art and computers to.. violin!? #201 Janice Powell is a CULT member that has quite a bit of talent playing the violin. She has been playing for about 9 years and is DAMN good (I can say this because I hear her play all the time, I'm her boyfriend). She is finally getting the recognition she deserves.
Very recently, about 2 hours before I started writing this, she was asked by the Washington Symphony Orchestra to play with them for the rest of the season (and ditch the lame honors orchestra). This is cool because its pretty damn hard to get into such things, especially considering everyone in the orchestra is old and she isn't even 16 yet.
She is quite excited about the whole thing.. don't be surprised if she yells out "I GOT ASKED TO PLAY WITH THE WASHINGTON SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA!!!!!!!!!" and "for the rest of the season!!!!! WITHOUT the youth orchestra" to everyone else she knows. If you see her, or feel like emailing her at jannie69@thecult.ml.org, make sure to congratulate her on a job well done. Meanwhile.. I'll be working on convincing her to get the rest of the orchestra to join THE CULT, hehe.
