It was about this time, one year ago that netCULT really began to take off. b0b (#4) started the orginal website in March, with creative use of k-rad's graphics and the Junx font. The graffiti wall was born, the first useful part of netCULT. Coming up this Thursday, May 27th, will be one year from last year's Thespian initiation, where Cary made his improv speach "Freedom". This year's initiation will be sometime, if they stop postponing it, with k-rad (#9), Ben (#3), Jeremy (#130) and Jono (#12) performing Rammstein. It should be something "completely different" from the rest of the initiation.
A few days prior to the Thespian initiation, Ben Greenfeld was named official DHS representative. This tradition has been continued with Ben passing the title in his senior will to Jon Chun (#12).
The other somewhat important thing that happened on that day was when I started CULTnewz. You can see all the original Newz entries in the AllNewz section. Ben took over for the summer while I was gone, having written a Perl script to make additions easier. Here's some of the other highlights and lessons of the past year:

I doubt ben actually wrote that script.. More likely than not I did it, I mean, what *didnt* I do.

That's right bitch! LOL =) My counter was at 15300 just a second ago. My page will be a year old on June 12th too. I'm so suprised my page has been seen as many times as it has...Too bad I don't make any money off of it. But then again, if I did I would have to give it all to netCULT (or at least b0b) since otherwise I would have a lame server hehe.
