future of netcult?

Netcult needs a new home. Its not something cheap to host because it needs its own apache server process. Unless somebody has their own box on a static IP, running some type of unix, and is willing to give me root to set this all up and let it run for a while.. then netcult will be down as of next weekend if not sooner. If you can host it, email me at bob@vir2l.com, if not, don't waste my time, I'm a busy person.
If I have no offers, I may someday decide to start it up again, but I'd probably clear out the databases and start over from scratch. I doubt that will happen though, I have other projects nowadays that I am more interested in realizing.. coding netcult hasn't interested me in too long. I did most of what I wanted to do, and I dont see myself touching the perl modules in a good while... though there is either a database handle or memory leak somewhere or another causing the errors after it has been running without restart for a week or two.
Its been cool, and it was fun. Peace out. « replies »

you can't donate the current machine to run on somebody's fast connection?
