I think ben was referring (albeit very sarcastically) to b0b's box/car/etc, and he's right.
Oh yeah and here's my idea.
We should takeover a spare newsgroup that's not being used and even try to get our own (alt.netcult). The latter is probably hard but should be possible eventually, maybe, I have no idea. But for now, we should agree upon a newsgroup noone uses and use that for posts/announcements whenever netcult goes down for a few days, etc. There's plenty of newsgroups that as far as I know no one uses.. alt.boomerang, alt.colorguard, alt.duck, alt.wired, whatever. alt.foobar is a good one.. alt.kill.the.whales, uh, alt.lies I like that...
There's probably a flaw in this I havent thought of but ohwell. Maybe people actually do use them. But as of right now there is 0 msg's in all of them so... Fuck it, even if people do use them who cares?
Oh yeah I just thought of a good flaw. A lot of people dont even know what newsgroups are much less how to get to them. I can see this being a problem. Bah.
