Lan Party a Success...

Last night Cary held a multi person (read "10 person") LAN party at his house. This news really doesn't pertain to anything at all except that we haven't had new news in AGES. So i got off my ass (read "there is nothing to do on Saturday at 5:20") and decided to get some new news up here. Anyway, The LAN party was great. Here is a small recap of what went on.
6:30 - Cary picks up Ben and they set up in the basement choosing prime gaming spots. Ben's monitor wont work and Cary can't play any games based on the UT engine. Both are baffled. Typical start to a LAN party, nothing works right.
7:10 - or somewhere around then... Mo and Rob from CP show up. beating K'rad, the person who invited them. Cary's jaw drops to the floor at the site of a full tower running a 1.1something Gig processor overclocked from something like 800. The best part is, low HD space.
7:30 - K'rad arrives. Proves that no matter how many pictures you take of Cheez, he will always look stoned, always.
7:45-9:00 - Craig and Jason show up, so does Jim, Smiley and his friends. I was way too busy getting my ass handed to me by mo in Q3 to realize people were showing up. Also somewhere in this time frame Ben got his monitor working again. Gaming resumes with some Counter strike. This is where K'rad wanted me to say that he kicked ass, but thats cool cause so did i. Smiley and crew furious that their "gay" computers can't see the network. Also mad that they dont have any of the games we are playing. They ammuse themselves with helmets made from old cereal boxes.
Smileys Curfew - (im not sure what time this was) Smiley and his friends leave, just after getting their computers to finally see the network, and installing the games. They get nothing from the LAN party, except for the excitement of cereal box helmets.
2:30 - Nothing. Some trading on the network but thats about it. K'rad ammuses himself with SNES roms. Rob troubles himself with cracking the hex/binary code used for IP address on some kind of WAN server for starcraft. A lost cause to say the least.
3:00 - Starcraft. A game Cary has never played, not for real anyway. After much gripe about K'rad's computer sucking so bad it crashes any other computer that even looks at it (gotta run Win2k dont we K'rad?) a server finally gets started. Teams appear to be fair, Cary struggles to get his army to do anything. Cheez decided that it would be "cool" to take out Cary cause he sucks. We will now call Cheez "a pussy". Cary laughs when everyone is raped by Ben.
5:00 - Cary goes to sleep. A game of Q3 team fortress super battle arena, or whatever the fuck it was called, starts. Cary sleeps.
5:00-8:00 - i have no idea.
8:00 - Party ends. People leave. I only know this cause they woke me up (fuckers). « replies »

lol, nice comment on starcraft. if you're gonna get picky there too, mo initiated the attack and i followed up. i'll put the pictures of the cereal box helmets up at some point, pretty funny shit. oh yeah, and you forgot the part(s) where konrad threatened to stab me with his knife. i believe ben also contemplated eating small pieces of me after cutting me up.

man, we played team rocket arena for like 2 hours (same level, ctf, I think the scores were like 150/140 or something insane) and my thumbs were fucked for a good while after that cause your pool table is so damn high cutting off circulation. Not to mention the emp device, hehe. I think I'll go post one of my cheez pics on the wall.. the rest will be up when I get back to cp (unless friday is still broken, COUGHbenfixthatshitCOUGH)
