Netcult LAN Party 2001 #2

Here at Netcult, we are rolling out the LAN parties. Methinks it's time for a review of this year's second which took place on the 13th.
This time in attendance:
Cary, Cheez, Ben, Nick (Hickman), Nick (Hamlin), Loren, Pat, and Myself.
Gaming consisted of constant ownage by Ben (suprise, suprise) except for one game of Q3 where I managed to come out on top. Unfortunatly my victory was undermined by the fact that Ben played the entire (100 frag) round with a Gauntlet and still managed to get 55 kills (or humilations as it were). Ah well, such is life.
Other games included Team Arena (the best Q3 mod as of yet, imo) and Counterstrike. The final CS game was Ben/Cheez vs. Me/Cary/Nick (fair teams if I've ever seen any). Cheez got most frags besting Ben by a hair, while Nick was busy teamkilling me. Only fond memories that there.
Dinner was provided by Cary's mom in the form of those thin little taco/burrito things that I always forget the name of. It'll come to me after I post this and then it'll be too late. Damn the man.
Anyway, in conclusion (and confusion), Netcult Party #2 of the 2001 year was, obviously, a success. Woo.

yup. my favorite part was getting onto hickman's win2k box by "guessing" the password. Nick's friend's name is Loren - he should be joining soon.

Dont forget Amy was there... i know it was hard keeping track of her seeing as that she just slept on the couch RIGHT BEHIND YOU the entire night. Amy thinks "Lauren" as you have put it should actually be spelled Loren, you know, the guy spelling. And also Amy did play a round of Q3 Team Arena where she spent most of the time looking at the wall and getting hit by rockets (at least thats all i saw every time i cane to watch her.) Anyway, yes i too agree that LAN party #2 was a hit. More shal follow.
